2022 Call for Proposals

January 19: 2022 Call for Proposals Opens

The application for session proposals for the 2022 PAEA Education Forum opens on Wednesday, January 19.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION 

The 2022 Education Forum will feature focused sessions that address the most important issues facing PA education, as well as a mix of advanced topics for experienced faculty and foundational topics for new faculty. 

More information on these types of sessions, as well as information about the call for proposals process, will be outlined in the submission guide.    

All sessions (with the exception of research posters and briefs) must fall into one of the eight areas of focus:   

  • Competency-Based Education   
  • Integrating Technology into the Learning Experience   
  • Teaching the 21st Century Learner   
  • Transforming the Student Experience   
  • Driving Innovations in Clinical Education   
  • Organizational Success   
  • Inclusive Excellence   
  • Health Systems Science

In case you missed the Call for Proposals Webinar – Your Step-by-Step Guide to Submit a Top-Notch Proposal, you can view the recording here. The webinar was designed to help applicants understand the key components of a top-notch proposal and provide you with tips and suggestions on how to clearly communicate goals, objectives, and audience engagement in your submission.  

Proposals are due by 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, March 1.  

REMINDER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE A CONFERENCE REVIEWER  

PAEA is looking for PA educators to serve as conference proposals reviewers to help us shape the 2022 Education Forum. As a reviewer, you will participate in a blinded peer-review of all Forum education session and research proposals, and should expect to review, score, and provide feedback on 15-20 proposals based on your area(s) of expertise. The review period will occur in the Spring, and detailed information about the review process will be provided. The application period will be open until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 1.
