2019 Education Forum Registration Coming Soon
Mark your calendars and get ready — registration for the 2019 PAEA Education Forum and Fall Workshops will open in the next few weeks.
The Forum will take place at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC, on October 10–12, immediately followed by the Fall Workshops on October 13–15.
New this year, we’ve added an additional area of focus: Health Systems Science. These sessions will discuss how programs are preparing students to function in evolving health care delivery systems and engaging in changing systems of care to improve health. All sessions (with the exception of research posters and briefs) will fall into one of the eight areas of focus:
- Competency-Based Education
- Integrating Technology into the Learning Experience
- Teaching the 21st Century Learner
- Transforming the Student Experience
- Driving Innovations in Clinical Education
- Organizational Success
- Inclusive Excellence
- Health Systems Science
We will also be taking advantage of meeting in our nation’s capital to facilitate visits to Capitol Hill. On Friday morning, October 11, members will be able to travel to the Hill to meet with their Congressional offices to advocate for PA education and the profession. If you’re interested in this important opportunity, keep an eye out during registration to add it to your agenda. Please note that members interested in participating in the Forum Hill Day must register by August 15.
Keep an eye on your inbox so you can take advantage of early bird registration pricing for both the Forum and Fall Workshops.
