Wisconsin State Assembly — CARES Act

Summary: On February 4, 2020, PAEA submitted a letter to stakeholders in the Wisconsin State Assembly regarding pending legislation to modernize PA practice in the state. In the letter, PAEA expressed strong support for the efforts of the Wisconsin Academy of PAs and AAPA in support of the CARES Act. PAEA reiterated its support of OTP and endorsed the legislation, which would remove burdensome administrative requirements and allow PAs in the state to practice at the top of their education and experience.
