Rural and Underserved Communities Task Force RFI

Summary: On November 26, 2019, PAEA submitted a response to a Request for Information issued by the House Ways and Means Committee’s Rural and Underserved Communities Task Force. In response to an inquiry regarding effective models to retain providers in underserved practice settings, PAEA discussed the success of the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education program in retaining physicians in health centers and cited the need to replicate this model to support interprofessional training.
