Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program

Summary: On September 11, 2020, PAEA sent a letter to the Health Resources and Services Administration regarding the upcoming release of a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training program. In the letter, PAEA urged the agency to explicitly name academic programs as eligible lead applicants for awards under the program and to ensure that training for students from all four disciplines (PAs, nurse practitioners, social workers, and health service psychologists) is supported by awards made through the program.
