H.R. 5506 – The Physician Assistant Direct Payment Act

Summary: On May 11, 2018, PAEA submitted a letter to the offices of Representatives Adrian Smith and Terri Sewell commending the introduction of H.R. 5506, which would allow PAs to receive direct payment for their services from Medicare. This is consistent with one of the components of AAPA’s Optimal Team Practice policy.
