General Information

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide students with an integrated and experiential curriculum in primary care and adult hospital medicine in a climate of high academic standards. Students will be prepared to practice evidence-based, cost-effective, compassionate care as members and leaders of healthcare teams in the communities we serve.
Unique Program Features
Dual mission in hospital and primary care medicine. 3 mo IP Hospital Medicine rotation / 3 mo OP primary care rotation. On-campus clinical skills / simulation lab dedicated to PA students (5 OP clinical exam rooms and a hospital simulation room. Students participate in weekly OSCEs starting 1st semester. The curriculum is integrated and taught in a block format. Summative exams at the end of each didactic semester and an EOC summative as well.
