Mission Statement
The mission of the UToledo Physician Assistant Program is to provide comprehensive student-centered education to develop competent and compassionate PAs, as a member of an interprofessional healthcare team, to provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered health care in diverse settings.
Unique Program Features
The University of Toledo Physician Assistant Program (UTPA) was the first graduate-level PA Program in the State of Ohio. The program classrooms and laboratories are state-of-the-art and include modern educational technology. Students receive interdisciplinary training and service-learning opportunities while working with underserved populations. The program promotes student success through comprehensive academic support and wellness support services.
