Mission Statement
The mission of the University of Arizona PA Program is to develop skilled and compassionate physician assistants with a strong focus on primary care and rural health. We are committed to fostering a learning environment that cultivates clinical and inclusive excellence, wellness, and community engagement, ensuring graduates are equipped to provide comprehensive and accessible health care services to all populations.
Unique Program Features
We require applicants to have completed six units of Spanish or have proficiency at the intermediate level prior to application. Our mission has a strong focus on rural and underserved populations within the state of Arizona. Our active and immersive curriculum encompasses a diverse range of methodologies including dynamic lectures, case-based learning and hands-on applications, including invaluable standardized patient encounters.
