Mission Statement: The mission of the University of Arizona PA Program is to develop skilled and compassionate physician assistants with a strong focus on primary care and rural health. We are committed to fostering a learning environment that cultivates clinical and inclusive excellence, wellness, and community engagement, ensuring graduates are equipped to provide comprehensive and accessible health care services to all populations.

Unique Program Features: We require applicants to have completed six units of Spanish or have proficiency at the intermediate level prior to application. Our mission has a strong focus on rural and underserved populations within the state of Arizona. Our active and immersive curriculum encompasses a diverse range of methodologies including dynamic lectures, case-based learning and hands-on applications, including invaluable standardized patient encounters.
