Mission Statement

The mission of the Jefferson Physician Assistant Program is to provide students with the foundation of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking necessary to competently perform the functions of the physician assistant profession in an ethical, empathetic manner working with a licensed practicing physician. A secondary focus is to prepare students to provide comprehensive medical services to diverse under-served patient populations in inner-city and rural locations.
