Mission Statement
The mission of the Physician Assistant Studies program at JWU is to educate students to become collaborative practitioners with the respect, empathy and trust inherent to patient-centered, humanistic health care.
Unique Program Features
Dedicated building for PA studies. Cadaver-based anatomy lab with access to e-study guides at each dissection station. Lecture halls with global teleconferencing capabilities and lecture capture. “Active learning” classrooms that can be easily reconfigured for group work or lectures, depending on the need. Conference rooms for small group meetings. Student lounges and study areas. Clinical practice center similar to a hospital emergency room.
