General Information

Mission Statement
The Central Coast Physician Assistant (CCPA) program educates culturally-humble, diverse physician assistants (PAs) to serve the primary care needs of medically underserved communities.
Unique Program Features
The CCPA program has the goal of educating physician assistants to provide whole person primary care to our nation’s underserved communities. Students will spend one year on campus and then enter the clinical phase at one of the partnering Community Health Centers (CHCs) around the country. Faculty work closely with students in small groups, helping them develop professional attributes and clinical problem-solving skills necessary to become healthcare providers within the CHC system.
