Principal Faculty

Mercy College of Ohio’s Physician Assistant Program offers an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Faculty member. This 12-month onsite position in Toledo, Ohio, is a great way to make a meaningful impact in PA education whether as junior faculty or as an experienced PA educator. The current Principal Faculty team members collaborate with each other to maximize the team’s areas of expertise and experience whether in the classroom or administering the program to assign workloads/roles. The program holds ARC-PA Accreditation-Continued status through 2035 and offers a seven-semester, cohort-based, active-learning curriculum supported by dedicated PA classrooms, a skills laboratory, outpatient exam rooms, shared simulation and clinical skills labs, interprofessional education, and Anatomage technology.

Beyond the strength of the program itself, Toledo offers an appealing place to live and work. Its vibrant downtown is anchored by the Toledo Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field and the Toledo Walleye at the Huntington Center, giving residents easy access to professional baseball and hockey in the heart of the city. The community also features standout cultural and recreational amenities, including the Toledo Museum of Art, which offers free general admission and free parking, and Glass City Metropark, a year-round riverfront destination along the Maumee River with views of the downtown skyline.
