College of Saint Mary invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in the Physician Assistant Studies Program. This is a 12-month, 0.8 FTE faculty position with an 18-credit-hour teaching load.

At College of Saint Mary, students come first. We are seeking a positive, collaborative, and student-centered educator who is passionate about preparing the next generation of physician assistants. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with students, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting a mission-driven PA program focused on student success, professional growth, and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities

The PA Studies faculty member will:

- Teach within the didactic and/or clinical curriculum based on program needs and area of expertise.

- Carry an 18-credit-hour teaching load over a 12-month contract.

- Collaborate with PA faculty in curriculum development, delivery, assessment, and evaluation.

- Participate in student advising, remediation, and academic support.

- Contribute to program assessment, accreditation activities, self-study, and continuous quality improvement.

- Engage in service to the program, college, university, and profession.

- Maintain professional development and remain current in clinical practice, PA education, and/or area of expertise.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or allied health program in a relevant field.

- Master’s degree in an appropriate field.

- Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physician assistant or healthcare provider.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

- Commitment to student-centered teaching and professional formation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Doctoral degree.

- Prior teaching experience in PA education or graduate health professions education.

- Experience with student advising, remediation, academic support, or learner success initiatives.

- Experience with accreditation, assessment, curriculum development, or continuous quality improvement.
