Duties/Responsibilities:
- Â Student instruction, evaluation, academic advising, and remediation/reassessment efforts
- Serve as course director for assigned courses of the didactic year
- Participation in laboratory session and small group interactive sessions
- Participation in implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the programâs curriculum on a continuous basis
- Participation in the admissions process which consists of recruitment, interviewing, and selection of students for incoming cohort
Required Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- Â Instructional and presentation skills
- Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to interface with students, faculty, and staff
Education:
- Physician Assistant applicantsÂ
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience as a PA.
- Minimum of a Masterâs degree in PA.
- Must have current NCCPA certification.
- Must be eligible for Missouri state license.
- Other Health Care Professional applicants (MD, DO, NP, PharmD)
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience.
- A graduate of an accredited university from an institution within the United States.
- Current board certification, or Emeritus status.
- Eligible for Missouri state license
- Consideration will be given to individuals who do not hold a health care professional degree but possess a terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in one of the human-focused basic life sciences and teaching experience at an accredited institution for higher learning.Â
- Experience in PA/medical classroom teaching
