As educators, we regularly adapt our courses, teaching methods, and active teaching strategies for in-person and online.

Join us on Thursday, May 5, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET for a Zoom coffee chat with Todd Zakrajsek, co-author of the book Teaching for Learning: 101 Intentionally Designed Educational Activities to Put Students on the Path to Success, which he co-authored with Claire Howell Major (University of Alabama) and Michael S. Harris (Southern Methodist University).
Teaching for Learning is a comprehensive, practical resource for instructors that highlights and synthesizes proven teaching methods and active learning strategies. Each of the 101 entries describes an approach and lists its essential features and elements, demonstrates how the approach may be used in various educational contexts, reviews findings from the research literature, and describes techniques to improve effectiveness.
During the session, attendees will have the opportunity to win a print copy of the book Teaching for Learning: 101 Intentionally Designed Educational Activities to Put Students on the Path to Success.
