2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET
This is a virtual event hosted on Zoom.
These program showcases by design are an opportunity for members to connect with one another, facilitate future collaboration, and allow you to feel like you have taken a short trip during this time of limited travel.
This webinar series highlights unique PA program characteristics, and it is our hope you will reach out to one another and find ways to engage and connect after the webinars are over.
PA Education in the Wild West: Thriving in Rural/Underserved Environments
The next stop on the PAEA Virtual Road Trip Program Showcase series will be to the Hardin-Simmons University PA Program in Abilene Texas. Program Director Jennifer Eames and Academic Director Tina Butler will discuss their program’s experiences and challenges in a rural and underserved setting. They will share how they have incorporated both their larger institutional mission and a spirit of volunteerism into their program curriculum as well as how they have worked to model leadership and professional advocacy.
