Session Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

• Describe the health care disparities and barriers in the management and treatment of patients with physical disabilities. 
• Discuss the legal requirements for providing health care as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 
• Describe the various equipment available to support equal access to healthcare and ensure patients with physical disabilities receive an appropriate physical exam. 
• Inspire physician assistants to serve as healthcare advocates for people with disabilities to improve health outcomes
