PA Admissions and Recruitment After the SCOTUS Decision

With the recent Supreme Court decision that effectively ended race-conscious admission, many programs are left to determine new methods and best practices for ensuring diversity among the students within their programs. To help begin this conversation and facilitate shared discussion, PAEA is hosting a webinar on August 15 at 3 p.m. ET. 

During the webinar, “PA Admissions and Recruitment After the SCOTUS Decision,” there will be discussions on how programs can maintain their EDI commitment after the court ruling, through thoughtful and intentional recruitment efforts and how to leverage WebAdMIT to ensure compliance with federal regulations. There will be time for questions at the end of the webinar. 

Prior to the  SCOTUS decision, there were nine other states that had legislation that prohibited the use of race-based admissions. While this recent decision does present challenges to our admission processes, there are ways to meet programmatic EDI goals. We encourage all programs to attend this webinar and learn more about strategies to continue promoting diversity in our programs and profession.
