This is the fourth session of our Scholarship Coffee Talk webinar series. Developing a research budget can be one of the most challenging aspects of grant writing, especially for new researchers who may be unsure where to begin or what to include. This session will provide an overview of the fundamental components of a basic research budget and offer practical guidance to help researchers create accurate, realistic, and fundable budgets.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Review why budgets are important to research grants
- Recognize what should be included in a budget
- Discuss what should not be included in a budget
This Coffee Talk webinar series on scholarship will introduce members to grant and manuscript submissions in small, manageable segments, designed to help you take the first steps in building your scholarly portfolio. Each session will be informal and interactive, providing a welcoming space for participants to ask questions and engage in discussion.
Speaker: Robert Furter, PhD, MBA, Chief Data Officer and Principal Psychometrician, PA Education Association
