Understanding the Criminal Background Check Process with Certiphi

Beginning with the 2023-24 CASPA cycle, PAEA announced we have engaged with a Criminal Background Check provider, Certiphi Screening. For those programs that are interested in learning more about Certiphi Screening, we will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, March 20, from 4:00-5:00pm ET.

• Admissions actions that initiate the CBC and control potential access removal; 
• Communications with student applicants, information collected, and result delivery; 
• Screening services included in the background check; 
• Report filter options for participating schools; 
• Dashboard management and best practices for reviewing results.
