Welcome to the PAEA Team

David Freeman

As PAEA’s new information technology director, David is responsible for supporting the policies and procedures, implementation, administration, and project management for all aspects of technology.

Originally from Alabama, David received a bachelor’s degree in management of technology from Athens State University, his master’s degree in management information systems from Auburn University, and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree. David is certified in project management, Scrum/Agile framework, and ITIL v3 Change/Service Management.

Prior to joining our team, David was a lecturer in the College of Business at Auburn University, where he taught Management Information Systems, Machine Learning, Risk Assessment, and Project Management. Prior to his time at Auburn, David held the role of IT director for a local government, where he was involved in the National Association of Counties by serving on numerous committees for cyber security, cyber risk, and technology policies and procedures.

When not working, he likes to spend time playing golf, grilling with family and friends, traveling, and woodworking.

Ethan Clark

Ethan has joined PAEA as our new manager of volunteer engagement. In this role, he is tasked with overseeing the volunteer structure of the Association and managing the annual awards program. Prior to joining our team, Ethan managed national education programs and partnerships focused on family and community engagement.

His passion for volunteer service began at the beginning of his career while he was teaching music in Pennsylvania’s public schools. Ethan resides in DC with his partner and spends most of his free time with their newly adopted puppy.

Catherine Majewski

Catherine is the new administrative associate for government relations, providing administrative support to PAEA’s MAT Waiver Training Initiative and the general operations of the Government Relations team.

She attended Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, graduating in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Prior to joining PAEA, Catherine served as a legislative aide to New Jersey State Assemblyman John S. Wisniewski, and then as a research and policy associate for Public Catalyst, where she assisted with data analysis and monitored the implementation of court-mandated child welfare policy reform in Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas.

In her spare time, Catherine likes to run, work out, and watch TV, especially HGTV (though she admits this might be just a phase).
