Help Us Design the 2020 Forum

It’s time to start thinking about submitting proposals for the 2020 Education Forum. In the coming weeks, we will begin accepting proposal submissions and identifying proposal reviewers. Here’s what you need to know.

Call for Proposals

PAEA will soon open the call for proposals for the 2020 Forum, so we want to encourage our members to begin thinking about potential submissions now.

Detailed information about the call for proposals process (i.e., submission guidelines, types of potential sessions and criteria, and a FAQ) will be available when the submission period opens on Tuesday, January 21. Proposals will be due no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 3.

Tips & Tricks for a Winning Proposal

If you are considering submitting a proposal for the 2020 Forum and would like some tips on developing a stellar proposal, please join us for a webinar on either Tuesday, January 14, from 12:00–12:45 p.m. ET or Wednesday, January 15, from 10:00–10:45 a.m. ET.

The webinar will help participants understand the key components of a top-notch proposal and offer some tips and suggestions on how to clearly communicate goals, objectives, and audience engagement. It will also provide updates on the 2020 call for proposals submission process. This webinar is offered twice and will also be recorded for those unable to make either session.

Call for Proposal Reviewers

PAEA will be looking for PA educators to serve as conference proposal reviewers for the 2020 Forum. Reviewers will participate in a blinded peer-review of all Forum research and education session proposals and should expect to review, score, and provide feedback on 15–20 proposals based on their area(s) of expertise.

The review period will occur in the Spring and detailed information about the review process will be provided. The application period will be open from Wednesday, January 15, until 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 5.
