The Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking a full-time Academic Physician Assistant to join the Department as teaching faculty. The candidate will be joining a physician assistant program within greater Tulsa.

Successful applicants will hold a master’s degree or higher, current NCCPA certification, and an unrestricted Oklahoma medical license (by date of hire). Additional department requirements or preferences may be applicable. Faculty rank will be based on qualifications. Various administrative positions may be available based on qualifications and program needs. 

 

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, providing formal classroom instruction, course coordination, course evaluation, student assessment for assigned courses in the didactic phase, clinical oversight of students, assisting with program accreditation and self‐study, obtaining continuing education requirements, and participating in other activities that lead to new knowledge in areas that are consistent with the needs of the program and the profession. Additionally, participating in general program coordination, Admissions Committee, Student Progress Committee, and other administrative roles as indicated.
