As the higher education landscape continues to shift, PA programs are increasingly challenged to balance advocacy for their programs with alignment to institutional priorities, and evolving state and federal policy requirements. Program leaders navigate complex institutional structures, engage effectively with university leadership, and understand the legal considerations that can influence program operations and strategic decision-making.

In this webinar, Jason Qu, an attorney with extensive experience in healthcare and higher education law, will discuss how PA program leaders can approach these challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Qu will outline the types of conversations programs should be having with institutional leaders and legal counsel and highlight common legal and policy issues affecting PA education.

Qu will be joined in conversation by Emma Sellers, MS, PAEA’s chief of recruitment and engagement, for a timely discussion about the broader higher education environment and what it means for PA programs today. Together, they will explore emerging pressures facing programs, offer context for recent developments in policy and governance, and provide actionable strategies to help program leaders make informed, proactive decisions.

This session is open to all PA faculty and staff and will be especially valuable for program directors, and other leaders responsible for program strategy, compliance, and institutional engagement.
