New Committee to Advise on CASPA Issues
Admissions policies and concerns are constantly changing within higher education and the PA profession. To ensure that PAEA continues to provide our members with the appropriate tools and resources needed to adequately attract, select, and matriculate those who will successfully complete their PA education, PAEA is proud to announce the creation of the CASPA Advisory Steering Committee.
PAEA’s CASPA team will begin working with the six PA educators, representing member PA programs throughout the country, and the one health profession advisor selected to comprise the inaugural volunteer class. Committee members will serve as the voice of PA admissions, act as an admissions resource for PA programs, and provide suggestions for the maintenance and enhancement of CASPA and the corresponding policies for both applicants and PA programs. Members of the committee will also develop admissions tools and resources for programs based on admissions best practices.
