Member Benefits

PAEA is the only national organization in the U.S. that represents PA educational programs. We offer four categories of membership: Voting, Institutional Colleague, International Institutional Colleague, and Individual Colleague. The benefits and fees for each are listed below:

Voting Member Benefits (Accredited programs) FY19

Fee: $4,275

Institutional Colleague Benefits (Developing programs) FY19

Fee: $2,915

  • Quarterly Journal of Physician Assistant Education
  • Access to the By the Numbers reports
  • Weekly e-newsletter
  • Ability to purchase PACKRAT® self-assessment exams
  • Access to members-only sections of the PAEA website
  • Access to and program listing in the Online Faculty Directory
  • Access to the PAEA Digital Learning Hub
  • Member rates for the Education Forum and PAEA workshops
  • Ability to participate on the professional learning communities
  • Ability to post faculty position openings on the PAEA online job board
  • Eligibility for service on a PAEA council/committee as a member
  • Eligibility to chair a committee
  • Ability to participate in CASPA within one year of expected provisional accreditation and must plan to admit first class the following year. The cost to participate in CASPA as a developing program is not included in the institutional membership and is a non-refundable fee of $5,500.
  • Program listing in the PAEA Online Program Directory, (listed as a developing unaccredited program)

International Institutional Colleague Benefits FY19

(International programs that aren’t eligible for U.S. accreditation) 

Fee: $2,915

Please note: There is a one-time $150 administrative joining fee for all membership categories listed above.

Individual Colleague Benefits FY19

Fee: $125

All Types of Members

To remain a member in good standing in PAEA, a program is required to:

  • Provide annual Program Directory updates
  • Pay annual dues in a timely fashion (due annually, July 1)
  • Maintain an accurate roster of faculty and staff for the Faculty Directory and database
