Clinical Professor in the Proposed Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program

Sam Houston State University (SHSU) College of Health Sciences seeks qualified applicants for a Principal Faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (12-month appointment) in the proposed Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program. The Principal Faculty member will report to the Program Director and collaborate with MPAS faculty and staff to advance the SHSU mission and ensure compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards.

The proposed MPAS Program is under review for provisional accreditation by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) and is expected to enroll its first cohort in Fall 2026. The program will be housed in the newly constructed Health Professions Building (HPB) in Conroe, Texas.
