The Department of Physician Assistant Studies at SUNY Upstate Medical University invites applications from qualified candidates to join our faculty. We are seeking experienced and innovative individuals who will help advance our department into the future, and further enhance the department's excellent reputation for entry-level physician assistant education.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

This full-time instructional faculty member is responsible for course instruction and/or course coordination in the didactic and/or clinical phase of the program, evaluation, advising, service, and scholarship. Candidates for this position must be NCCPA certified and NYS PA licensed (or eligible). Primary care clinical experience and teaching experience are preferred.

Since 2011, Upstate Medical University’s Physician Assistant Studies Program has produced graduates with strong clinical skills who are recruited in multiple disciplines in many medically underserved communities throughout the United States. We offer a 27-month, entry-level PA program and enjoy strong support from the clinical community in the Central NY region.
