Wake Forest University School of Medicine PA Studies is seeking a qualified PA to fill a full-time faculty position on the Boone campus.
The Boone campus was established to train PA's in Western North Carolina and extend access to care in Northwest North Carolina. This campus matriculates 24 students annually who learn simultaneously with the Winston-Salem campus.
Primary duties in this role include preparing/delivering instruction, assessing student performance, participating in the program's curriculum development, self-assessment processes, student recruitment & mentoring students in their professional development. The successful candidate will produce scholarship & provide service including active participation on committees. Opportunities are provided for professional service to the PA profession & ongoing clinical practice.
Qualifications for this position include graduation from an accredited PA program, minimum of earned Master's Degree, current NCCPA certification & eligibility for NC licensure. A desirable applicant will be a team player, have excellent written/verbal communication skills & have experience in PA education or clinical precepting, and align with the Wake Forest PA department values.
