Introducing our two newest staff members, Chiquita Carey and Sherray Gibson!
Chiquita joined the PAEA team in June to oversee customer service for PAEA Assessment products, among other things. She brings over 10 years of administrative and customer service experience to the Assessment team. Prior to joining PAEA, her background in customer service allowed her to work in property management, with a continuing education and exam program, and with an organization focused on supporting state and territorial health officials.
She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and holds a bachelor’s degree in family studies. In her spare time, Chiquita enjoys taking road trips, singing, eating, and watching movies and reality television.
Sherray joined us in July, taking on support of not just one — but two — teams, communications and business operations. In this role, she is responsible for office management on the business operations side, as well as assisting the communications team with mailing lists and tasks to ensure the timely publication of the Journal of Physician Assistant Education. Sherray brings over ten years of administrative experience with both private and nonprofit companies.
When she’s not at PAEA, Sherray teaches dance to young adults at Bowie State University in Maryland. She is also a self-described “foodie,” and enjoys watching The Food Network and cooking.
