PAEA’s biennial PA Program Faculty and Directors Survey is now open! This survey collects information on faculty salaries, demographics, job satisfaction, faculty roles and responsibilities, and other critical topics. These data provide rich insight into the factors that impact faculty recruitment and retention and are also commonly used for benchmarking and workforce research.
This is an opportunity for you to provide valuable feedback about your experiences as a PA educator — and help PAEA develop resources that are responsive to your needs. For example, data collected in this survey make up the foundation of our most requested custom reports — comparative salary reports frequently used by faculty and program directors to negotiate salaries at their programs. Faculty will only be eligible to request these types of reports if their program has contributed data to the survey, so it’s important to make your voice heard!
Program directors and faculty members received an email from PAEA Research this morning, Wednesday, March 27, detailing how to participate in the survey. If you are a PA educator and did not receive an email with the survey link, please contact the Research Team. Programs with a faculty response rate of 90% or higher will be entered to win a complimentary 2019 Forum registration. Respondents who complete the survey will have the opportunity to enter into a drawing for a new iPad mini. All survey responses are confidential and will be stored in a secure database with no identifying information.
The survey will be open until June 5.
