Recruiting and Maintaining U.S. Clinical Training Sites: Joint Report of the 2013 Multi-Discipline Clerkship/Clinical Training Site Survey

Download this report – pdf
PAEA, in collaboration with the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, developed a multi-discipline survey to learn about their members’ experiences with, and concerns about, clinical training sites for students. Launched in the spring of 2013, the Clerkship Survey was sent to the deans or directors of each program or school. The final report reveals the findings of the survey and compares them across disciplines (MD-granting medical schools, DO-granting medical schools, nurse practitioner programs, and PA programs).

In addition to publishing regular survey data reports, the PAEA Research Department periodically publishes brief reports focused on specific issues of interest.
