The PAEA
Faculty Development Institute (FDI) offers a
new, convenient, and affordable way to continue
providing an ongoing mechanism for faculty
development for PA program faculty: The
Education Scholar.
The Education Scholar series offers member access to a quality series of faculty enrichment modules at a reasonable price. Each of the seven modules is self-paced, so one can schedule their learning time around other faculty responsibilities. Once enrolled, each person will have an entire year to work with the modules.

- Developing a Personal Working Philosophy to Guide Teaching/Learning and Faculty Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitating Learning in a Traditional Classroom Setting
- Improving Learning Outcomes Through the Use of Active Learning Strategies
- Developing and Implementing Instruction to Meet Special Program Needs--Distance Education
- Developing and Implementing Instruction to Meet Special Program Needs--Problem Based Learning
- Student Assessment and Classroom Research
- Promoting Teaching/Learning Excellence in Your Institution
- NEW - Learning in the Experiential Setting. This module focuses on the preceptor as an educator, and will help you develop skills to improve your teaching in the experiential setting to maximize learning.
