Registration is now open to observe the fifth meeting of the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives for 2030. You might know this group as the one who will be developing Healthy People 2030.
On September 7, the committee will hear oral testimony on the proposed Healthy People 2030 framework. Comments can be no longer than two minutes, and related to the vision, mission, goals, foundational principles, and plan of action of the framework.
The meeting is free to observe and will take place on September 6–7 in Washington, DC. Registrants can choose to attend both days or just one.
There is no deadline to register, but space is limited and registration will close once they reach capacity. The deadline to register intention to provide oral comments is August 21 at 5:00 pm ET, with a written version of the comments due by August 30.
