The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is now accepting applications from primary care health practitioners — including PAs — for their Loan Repayment Program.
Those who qualify agree to serve a two-year term at an approved high-need, underserved site in exchange for funds to repay student loans. Funding level will depend upon whether a clinician is full-time or part-time: full-time clinicians will receive up to $50,000 for the first two years, and half-time clinicians will receive up to $25,000. At the conclusion of either option, clinicians are eligible to extend their service and gain further financial support.
Applications must be submitted by 7:30 p.m. ET on April 6. For more information, visit the program’s website.
