What happens when your students have questions about PAEA Assessment exam items? Do you feel helpless? Customer service staff can’t give you the answers because it puts the content of active exams at risk.
If this scenario is familiar to you, there is something you can do: Register today for “Trading Places: End of Rotation™ Exam Administration for Faculty” during the upcoming PAEA Education Forum in Denver.
On Saturday, October 28, PAEA will host two sessions at the Forum giving faculty the opportunity to engage in a typical student experience of our End of Rotation™ exams. The workshop will be set up like a computer lab, and participants will be allowed to take one section of an actual (recently retired) exam through our exam delivery system.
Participants will see real questions and experience the actual interface, including the student honor code and tutorial. The exact form is from last year, but will give you an idea of the difficulty of the content and caliber of the writing. Experienced faculty will also model best practices for proctoring during each session. Facilitators will walk you through the process from exam preparation to test-taking, followed by a brief question and answer period.
Both sessions will be held Saturday morning – one at 8:30 a.m. (during the Business Meeting) and one at 10:00 a.m. We will feature a full-length Q&A session after the General Session and Lunch that afternoon – open to participants from both sessions as well as those who missed out – to discuss the exam process and systems in greater depth.
If you are on the fence about attending the Forum, then jump off and sign up for this opportunity. Pre-registration is required for this special event, and space is very limited – both sessions are already half full. You can sign up here for your preferred time. Confirmation will be sent two weeks before the Forum – and will look like what students receive before a scheduled exam.
