2015 Report on PA Programs Released
By the Numbers: 30th Report on Physician Assistant Educational Programs in the United States is now available to PAEA members (login required). We’ve updated the look of the report — more graphs and less text make it easier for you to find the data you need.
Per usual, the report offers a slew of interesting data on a range of topics — financials, enrollment, and class size among them. New this year: Section 5, featuring information on clinical training sites.
A few sample highlights of the report:
- Figure 3 on page 4 illustrates the number of new PA programs since 1965.
– - Table 9 on page 10 displays the proportion of programs that pay for clinical sites and how those payments are distributed.
– - Figure 9 on page 15 shows the barriers to hiring new faculty.
